Evyon + TGN Energy together for a fully renewable future

Batteries for solar energy storage are progressing swiftly and becoming mainstream as the shift to renewable energy accelerates. Historically, batteries were typically used for off-grid solar structures but the huge increase forward in lithium battery technology has made it a viable opportunity for people wanting to store surplus solar energy and become more energy independent. Furthermore, with recurrent extreme weather events instigating grid-wide blackouts, households and industries are looking for techniques to ensure they have a dependable electricity supply during extended electricity supply disturbances.

Evyon is set to accelerate this market development by providing sustainable, affordable and top-quality battery energy storage systems by revolutionizing the repurposed EV battery space.

Fredrik Andersson, the CTO and Co-founder of TGN Energy were delighted to partner up with Evyon for some of their latest projects. Fredrik and TGN Energy deliver disruptive energy solutions and give all people access to clean and affordable energy. They design and build energy control and storage systems as their core tasks in a sustainable approach.

In a recent discussion, Fredrik expressed the main reasons behind their approach to sustainable resources and the reasons for partnering with Evyon for future projects in the foreseeable future.

“TGN wants to use the finest quality and economically priced batteries for our projects and that was one of the key decisions for partnering with Evyon as a battery provider. “

Evyon installed their first battery storage system in collaboration with TGN Energy at the Hope Cathedral - a floating art installation made of wood and recycled ocean plastics that is built to raise awareness around sustainability and circularity. The plug-and-play hybrid solar and battery energy system provides clean, renewable energy to the Hope Cathedral, enabling it to be relocated to various places on the Norwegian coast without the need for a power grid connection.

TGN Energy was highly satisfied with Evyon’s professional approach that allowed for straightforward planning, integration and commissioning of the battery storage system. Evyon cares about the sustainability of its products throughout its life and this was a key factor for TGN when choosing the battery. Fredrik conveyed their intentions for building a long-term partnership with Evyon and TGN Energy for future projects.

“We wanted a player that is highly knowledgeable and trustworthy with regards to battery energy storage systems, that can install, service and monitor the energy storage systems remotely and efficiently utilizing a battery cloud software.”

Evyon and TGN Energy see great potential to collaborate toward providing sustainable energy solutions to B2C and B2B customers in order to achieve their vision - a fully renewable future for everyone.
