Evyon proudly announces that in November 2021, just after one year of having founded the company, we delivered and commissioned our first commercial & industrial system, a significant milestone for any battery company. We are grateful to be given the opportunity to deliver this with our valued customer and partner, TGN Energy. The system has 216 kWh of energy storage based on second-life battery modules, making it the largest of its kind in Nordics to Evyon and TGN Energy’s knowledge.

A success story with TGN

TGN Energy is a company focused on developing grid-connected energy storage systems for industrial customers. TGN’s vision is to shape the future of energy distribution with its unique OrcaGrid system. 

TGN Energy saw a great opportunity in cooperating with Evyon, in order to offer high-quality second-life batteries to their customers, and together shape an even greener future.

Evyon’s CEO, Jørgen Erdal, reveals: “At TGN, our services include the provision of the C&I system which is designed according to the state-of-the-art, with multiple strings operating collaboratively or individually at 800 V.” The system Evyon deployed is also the largest of its kind in the Nordics, clocking in at 216 kWh. 

We asked Tommy Bønsnæs, CEO of TGN Energy, to share his experience with Evyon.

“It has been a pleasure working with Evyon. The team is highly motivated and extremely skilled in all. Evyon has performed well in all phases of our projects.”

Tommy Bønsnæs further adds: “Evyon products have proven to perform on and above our expectations. We have recently collaborated with Evyon to get the largest repurposed C&I system of its kind delivered in the Nordics. TGN sees this system as a «silent revolution» not only is it the largest of its kind, but it will also be the first repurposed system to participate in Norway's reserve power market.”

Tommy is very optimistic about the future of TGN Energy.

“2022 has so far proven to be very positive for us, both our business pipeline and order reserve have increased. TGN has a strategy to introduce our system in Europe in the near future.“
