How Autodesk supports Evyon in enabling a fully renewable future for everyone

Evyon (formerly RePack) is excited to announce that the company has been accepted to the Autodesk Technology Impact Program. Thanks to Autodesk & the Autodesk Foundation for awarding us with software that will further accelerate our vision to create a fully renewable future for everyone.

Through its Technology Impact Program, Autodesk donates software to nonprofits and social impact startups using design for environmental or social good. From greener buildings to smarter products to mesmerizing blockbusters, Autodesk software helps customers design and make a better world for all.

Autodesk offers a collection of tools that are essential for Evyon’s business, allowing us to provide a better designed and well-documented product. Prior to being accepted into the Technology Impact Program, Evyon was already an active user of Autodesk solutions, including Fusion 360®. We were excited to apply for the Autodesk Technology Impact Program after receiving Autodesk support which helped our team optimize our workflow by reducing time and effort required in production. As our business grows, we are in need of a suite of tools that allows us to create a greater impact.

Anirudh Kurup (above image), Evyon’s leading structural and thermal design engineer shares:

"We use Autodesk Fusion 360 for all CAD modeling and rendering purposes. All our mechanical fixtures are modeled in Fusion 360 and the drawings of the 3D models are sent to the manufacturer for production.”

“CAD modeling with Fusion 360 is fast and easy, also powerful enough for the projects that we do. Since it is a cloud based software, the 3D models created are accessible by other team members and the changes made are updated in real time. This enables other team members to view, comment on and modify the 3D models which is very useful. Also it has a web based 3D model viewer for sharing the 3D files with team members who do not have the Fusion 360 software installed on their PCs. Overall, we are very satisfied with using Autodesk Fusion 360 and quite happy that they granted us the start-up license."

Mohamed Jaidane, Interim CTO at Evyon, who secured the Autodesk partnership, further adds:

“The collection solution provides not just a set of softwares, but a set of interconnected and interactive softwares with which we can develop the entire product from scratch to commercial, with simulation, calculations, documentation, PDM/PLM, and drawing efforts in one single place. We believe that with the suite of tools we get access to through Autodesk’s Technology Impact Program, we will be better equipped to design and document our products, share knowledge with our clients and suppliers in efficient ways, reduce waste and failed prototypes.”

Evyon is grateful to be accepted to the Autodesk Technology Impact Program, and look forward to accelerating our impact thanks to Autodesk's leading software solutions.
