What will you be doing?
As our Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be taking a leading role in the ideation and engineering of Evyon’s planet-friendly energy storage solutions. The main task will be to join the design of our next-generation product, taking in all the learnings from Evyon previous prototypes and products. In addition to this, you will be supporting the commercialization and iteration of Evyon Industrial: Our first mass-produced and certified battery energy storage system product that is being launched in 2024.
The main responsibilities will be:
- Take a leading role in the electrical design and launch of our next-generation ESS product from pilot series to commercial product.
- Supporting the deployment and subsequent rework of Evyon Industrial, our first commercial product to be launched in the middle of 2024.
- Support customers in succeeding with Evyon’s products, and incorporate learnings into future iterations and product launches.
- Lead and grow the electrical engineering team and other junior members to grow their full potential.
- Lead electrical engineering as a topic in Evyon by establishing structures and processes.
- Work closely with suppliers and the contract manufacturer to go from initial designs through prototypes to serial production.
What are the ideal qualifications?
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or vocational education in a relevant field.
- You are located in Oslo or able to move here.
- Fluency in English is a must while Norwegian is optional.
- Detailed electrical engineering capabilities with a focus on the design of energy systems up to 1000V and 300A.
- Multidisciplinary knowledge demonstrated through past projects/experience (software, mechanical, industrial, DFM …) and ability to interact with cross-disciplinary teams.
- Experience with the development of medium-volume products and subsequent lifecycle phases (1k-10k/year).
- Experience with electrical systems and energy systems certification is a plus.
- Lithium Battery experience is a plus.
- Experience working in labs and performing testing (verification and validation) is a plus.
