Evyon welcomes ten new team members in the first 5 months of 2022

New team members of Evyon

Evyon has welcomed ten new team members in 2022 already. We are proud to have 16 nationalities represented in our team of 22. Evyon’s highly-skilled team is core to delivering growing volumes of first-rate sustainable energy storage solutions to our clients across Europe. 
 
Alongside sustainability, teamwork has always been at the forefront of our business. In fact, this is what keeps us all focused on building a renewable future that benefits everyone. Evyon is thrilled to introduce our ten new members below (with more details in their linked LinkedIn profiles). 
 

Ralph Groen has joined in the role of Chief Commercial Officer. He is responsible for the commercial development and strategy of Evyon. Ralph will be leading all aspects regarding sales & marketing teams. Ralph brings 10+ years of experience within Energy, Corporate Strategy, Venture Building and Climate & Sustainability that will help accelerate our mission of a fully renewable future for everyone.  
Ramune Gailius is our new Office Manager. Her leadership experience and organizational skills will be instrumental to Evyon, so that we can continue on growing our office and team in a sustainable and scalable manner. 

Max Spencer recently joined Evyon as the Head of Product. Prior to joining our team, Max held a variety of R&D senior management roles in a career spanning about 18 years. His proficiency in hardware development, engineering, and prototyping will be put to use in the creation and optimization of Evyon’s battery systems ready for manufacturing.

Minza Gayas is the Linux Embedded Engineer at Evyon. She is working on Embedded systems that act as an outer layer of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). Her expertise in system engineering will be leveraged in delivering Smart solutions. Her area of responsibility includes interfacing with different batteries, system administration and integration with Battery Cloud.

Daniel Bunte joined as a Senior Software Engineer and is responsible for our Battery Cloud solution. Daniel’s expertise in cloud-native applications will have a huge impact on the quality, reliability, and scalability of Evyon’s software products.

Rodrigo Carvalho has joined Evyon as a Senior AI/ML Battery Scientist. He is taking the lead of our digital twin and AI-powered platforms. His expertise on computational modeling, AI, and energy storage systems has already proven to be valuable to Evyon’s Battery Cloud solutions.  


Philipp Kersting is our newest Electrical Engineering intern at Evyon. His role involves assisting the development, building process and testing of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) that use second-life EV batteries. Philipp’s experience with HV systems and power electronics will add a lot of value to the systems we design and build at Evyon. 



Jade Cavalcanti is joining our Marketing and Communications team as an intern. She will be assisting the rest of the team in marketing and promotional efforts across different online channels. Jade will bring her expertise in digital marketing strategies to help increase Evyon’s brand awareness and online presence. 

Eirik Bækkelund is Evyon’s Machine Learning intern and has great competence in computational mathematics that will contribute to the development of digital twin and AI/ML solutions that help maximize the value of our battery systems.
 
Abdallah Amro has joined Evyon as our Energy Management Systems intern. His expertise involves procurement quality assurance, PV power plants testing & commissioning. He is developing Evyon’s Energy Management System with the purpose of maximizing the system efficiency and reducing the operational costs.
